Kaplan Celebrates National Ice Cream Month

Celebrated in the USA, #NationalIceCreamDay occurs on the 3rd Sunday in July and is part of #NationalIceCreamMonth, which is celebrated throughout the whole month. As one of the hottest times of the year, this is the perfect environment for enjoying a cold, frosty ice cream cone.

Introduced in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan, National Ice Cream Month was created to praise the joys of ice cream, a food that was enjoyed by over 90% of the nation’s population. To celebrate, we’ve collected some ice cream photos from students at our English schools around the world, alongside some fun (and educational) facts about the origins of ice cream.
