An Intensive English course in the UK: Ivan's story

Ivan, a 26 year old from Italy, is studying Intensive English in the UK, at Kaplan International's Liverpool school, a new and modern school in this multicultural city that is home to two English Premier League teams, and a former European capital of culture.

What were you doing before studying at Kaplan?
I was a law student in Italy.

How has your English improved since studying at Kaplan?
I have just started to study at Kaplan but I can say that in less than 2 weeks I've already improved my speaking.

What do you love the most about the city you're studying in?
The fact that the people are very friendly and always available to help you.

What do you like about the school?
Everything. The teachers, my classmates, the lessons, the environment ....

What do you like the most about your teachers?
They are well-prepared and they know how to build a relationship with their students.

What has been your best experience at Kaplan so far?
The social activities, of course!

Why would you recommend Kaplan to your friends back home?
Because at Kaplan they would learn English in a very professional environment and at the same time they will meet a lot of interesting people.

How do you think studying English with Kaplan will help your future?
Nowadays, those who don't speak English are out of the society! So it could help me in daily life as well as in the working environment.

What do you plan to do after you finish studying?
I would like to undertake a postgraduate master's degree in U.K.

Do you think this course has helped you with your future goals? How?
I really hope that after this course I will be able to get the score that I need in IELTS!
