Colombian Blogger Visits Auckland School

Stefanía Ramírez Gutíerrez, currently a blogger and university student from Medellin in Colombia, won a scholarship from English New Zealand to partake in the Great Study Bloggers Tour of New Zealand, where she was able to experience the Kiwi culture and what it’s like to be an international student abroad.

The task: Spend 8 sunny weeks learning English in 6 partner English schools dotted around the country, blog about the experience, and make friends!

Stefania arrived in New Zealand in December 2015 and recently finished in February at our Kaplan International school in Auckland, where she ended her amazing experience.

“Kaplan International English Auckland was the school where I finished my English course, and I must confess it was the best of the 6 schools. From the best teaching methods to the K +eXtra (online learning to study after school), a study center, many classes and extracurricular activities to enjoy with classmates.”

We can easily understand why Stefanía loved New Zealand. Auckland, the largest city in the country, is surrounded by water and boasts stunning bays, nature reserves, and beautiful beaches.
