Tell us about your experience studying with Kaplan.
I'm pretty surprised with the whole experience studying here. Before I came here I was expecting to have only English lessons, but after the very first day I could see that there so much more involved. I love knowing new people every day and we have this good environment to make new friends and already practice the English we learn in the classes.

What were you doing before studying at Kaplan?
I was studying Public Relations at university and working at an arts school as PR assistant.

How has your English improved since studying at Kaplan?
I think I became more fluent in my speaking, and more confident to talk to people even if I'm quite concerned if they will understand me. Here I can see that I'm able to deal with different kind of situations and have a good conversation using the skills I already know.

What do you love the most about Perth?
I love the way everything seems to work here. People are really polite - even with complete strangers on the street - and in general it's a really safe place to live. But what I love the most about Perth is there always something happening around the city and we have many cultural programs that we can participate in.

What do you like about the school?
I really appreciate the environment we have with many different nationalities and different cultures to learn about and understand.

What do you like the most about your teachers?
I think the teachers are very well prepared to make the learning process looks natural and pretty funny. With the speaking activities we can improve our English skills in a way that looks like a real conversation.

Why would you recommend Kaplan to your friends back home?
Because it's a place where you can be sure that you will have the necessary English classes to improve the way you communicate in English and also have many other opportunities to interact with other students. Another reason to recommend it to my friends would be that here I feel that all the teachers and staff are concerned about my learning and they can help me anytime I want.

Do you think studying English with Kaplan will help your future?
It will help in my professional career for sure and also my personal development. As I want to travel around the world and meet as many people as I can, speaking good English will definitely help me to communicate better and have better experiences in life.

What do you plan to do after you finish studying?
Actually I hope I can keep self-studying after my course with Kaplan has ended. While being in Australia, I will practice my English for sure, but after this period I'm planning to look for another English course or conversation group back in my country. Here, I still have some travels I want to do. After I finish studying I’m planning to take a long vacation around Australia!

Do you think this course has helped you with your future goals? How?
Totally. Not just because it will help me in my career or personal wishes, because of travelling and discovering new places and people, but also because the feeling about learning a new language is amazing. Communication is really important to me - actually this is what my studies are about - and I feel really satisfied that I can communicate with people from all over the world. This course helped me to feel this new sensation and understand that I can do whatever I want if I study hard and keep my focus on my goals. I'd say that studying here was much more than I ever thought it will be!
