Kaplan Launch Scottish Facebook Photo Competition

Kaplan International Colleges has launched a Facebook photo competition to celebrate its brand new English language school facilities in Edinburgh.

Students are asked to submit their Scottish themed photos to the Kaplan Facebook page with the main prize being a free two week English Course in Edinburgh, complete with home stay accommodation and £500 flight vouchers.

Photos can be anything from students wearing kilts to eating shortbread and even holding bagpipes. The photos do not have to be taken in Scotland; entrants just need to show what they believe is a true Scottish experience.

The competition starts on Monday 18th June and closes on Sunday 24th June. Kaplan Facebook fans can vote for their favourite photo on the Kaplan Facebook page between Monday 25th June and Monday 2nd July.

Hazel Francis, Kaplan's Social Media Assistant, said: "We love getting involved with photo competitions as we always get a lot of talented participants entering. The chance to study in Edinburgh is an amazing prize, so we're really excited about seeing all the entries!"

The winner will be the participant who has received the most votes for their photo and they will be announced on the Kaplan Facebook page on 4th July.

Kaplan's updated Edinburgh college has 12 new classrooms, which have been furnished with IWBs and smart tables. This refurbishment provides a total of 20 classrooms across two buildings; making it the biggest permanent adult English language school in the Scottish capital.

There will be wheelchair access to all facilities, an extended student break-out room with snack bar and water fountain, more outdoor space for students to enjoy the sunshine; as well as increased Wi-Fi connectivity in both buildings.
